1. Who we are
The Get My Vastu Kavach app ("the app") is operated by WOW IT Solutions ("we", "us"), the company behind vastukavach.com, founded by Rohit Shah, Astro-Vastu consultant. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect

3. Location — on your device only
The app uses your device's location and compass once, during the scan, solely to anchor your home's centre and measure directions. Your location is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, stored, or shared by us.
4. What we do NOT collect
- No GPS/location data leaves your phone
- No contacts, photos, files, or messages are accessed (images you choose to attach in admin features are uploaded only by explicit action)
- No advertising identifiers; no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs
- No payment information — the app is free
5. How your information is stored and shared
Your details are stored securely on Supabase (our database provider) and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Expo push service; these providers process your device token solely to deliver notifications. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing. Your details are seen only by our own consultation team.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your lead details and report for as long as needed to provide consultations and maintain your referral rewards. You may ask us to delete your data at any time (see below), and we will remove it within 30 days.
7. Your rights (including under India's DPDP Act, 2023)
- Access — ask what information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate details
- Deletion — ask us to erase your details and report
- Withdraw consent — turn off notifications any time in the app's Settings or your phone's notification settings; stop using the app to stop all collection
- Grievance — raise a complaint with us using the contacts below; we respond within 30 days
8. Children
The app is intended for adults managing their homes and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Disclaimer on guidance
The app provides indicative, do-it-yourself Vastu guidance for homes only. It is not a substitute for a professional on-site consultation, and no outcome is guaranteed.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
